Groves and Banks - HQ and Warehouse, Thame

Background

Groves is the UK’s leading distributor of sewing and needlecraft accessories. Based in Thame, Oxfordshire, in 2016 the company commissioned the building of a brand new headquarters and warehouse to house its range of over 55,000 product lines.

The challenge

Groves supplies many independent high street retailers and national chains including household names such as Dunelm Group , Hobbycraft, John Lewis and The Range. Their purchasing teams regularly visit the showroom and warehouse for meetings and product reviews. Creating the right impression for customers is a vital part of the company’s strategy and a clean environment is an important part of this. As Managing Director, Andrew Groves says, “I am a stickler for detail. Our guests’ washrooms, in particular, must both look and smell good.”

The solution

Ever Brite had been cleaning the windows at Groves’ former premises in Thame for fifteen years using their own Reach and Wash system. Groves then asked the company to perform a builder’s clean across the new 12,000 sq metre site, before going on to request a full cleaning service. Ever Brite now deliver daily cleaning to the building, including offices, canteen, changing rooms, hygiene areas and outdoor shelters.

The Ever Brite difference

Ever Brite is a Buckinghamshire contractor with good coverage across the Home Counties. Recruiting from scratch, the company put together a reliable team, with local back up available to cover absence. The use of leading edge equipment, such as i-Mops, has helped to maintain high standards, whilst staff are also trained to add small touches like folding the end of the loo roll in order to create a welcoming feel to the visitor hygiene facilities. Andrew Groves is happy with the service and describes Ever Brite as “a well-organised company who provide amazing value for money. I have confidence they won’t let me down.”
